Still dead as of 4-30pm 07/08 - i thought the rsoc were meant to have moved their forum to better servers/hosting facilities but it seems to have made things worse since the upgrades a few months back Really starting to cheese me off now

John has took it away to strip down so we can get some pics of the turbines and shaft but basically he says its gone big big time.

John found a chunk of metal in the exhaust side behind the turbine, thinks its a bit of shaft , must have been a litre of oil poured out of turbo compressor side when I took it off.

Also turbo support bracket had snapped so thats being welded tomorrow, ain't paying frauds prices.

I'm renewing oil feed pipe, all copper washers on water / oil feeds, gasket to manifold and oil return gasket plus a few bolts that where rusty.

the edges on some of the blades are missing, no wonder its not working properly

 

I cant believe the state of the leading edges of the blades, it looks like they
have been cut out with a plasma cutter
