Default RS focus questions

Hi all, I'm normally found on the cossie pages but I have a few quick question for you guys. Just trying to find out off people in the know! I suppose when I say beat it I'm taking about total performance package - acceleration, handling, braking and top speed.

1. What car (N/A) would it take to beat an RS?
2. Is there another standard 2.0 N/A that could beat it?
3. Is there any car (N/A) at the same price then or now that could beat it?

There the kind of questions that Focus RS drivers might be able answer seeing as they drive them and know better than anyone there capabilities, they not be directly about a focus but since all the answers need to be compared to a focus I thought this might be the place to come, you tell me?

I don't know of any STANDARD car on the market just now that would beat it other than maybe Boxter S. I take N/A means naturally aspirated? but any 2L car with good properly engineered engine and suspension mods is capable of matching or beating FRS. I have heard of Civic Type R's and Seat Ibizas modded to hel with crazy 0-100 times that beat FRS but not so sure they would beat it round a track.

Like for like:

1/ M3, Alfa 147GTA..... it`s the RS`s weight which helps it!
2/ The only 2 cars on a par with the RS IMO are the DC2 and DC5.
3/ Only cars able to beat it (Alfa, Vxr etc) would only do so in a straight line except for the 2 cars mentioned above!

Honda S2000

Quicker acceleration, handling on par, price bit more expensive.

i cant think of a n/a thats faster than a FRS to be honest..

however the cars in the range and sporting facts were on top gear when the RS got wasted by the Alfa 147.. R32 golf.. but there more than 2litre's arent they?

like the focus is a 2Litre with a Turbo so how could you compare a n/a to a turbo, unless it was something more powerful like an m3, without sport button pushed

Very close and I should have mentioned it but in my experience with a few, overall, the RS had the edge on it but yes, cracking motor!

Oh and yeah, both the Alfa and Golf are 3.2 V6 engines and Golf has 4wd!
