Can anyone help me thinking of getting a FOCUS RS but dont know wot to look for ?? how much are they ?? Wot is standard spec ?? wot can you do to them etc ???? cheers

Std are 212bhp

Look for:

Seat Bases being upgraded to the stiched version
Pink trumpet on accelerate cable under bonnet
Thin paint on the rear arches
Coolant leaks on the thermostat housing (side of engine by coil pack - looking for pink crust)

Exhaust
Manifold
Colour Coded Door Handles
Carbon Fibre front spliter
Carbon Fibre fog light surrounds
Uprated Charge Cooler
Uprated Turbo
Front Mount Air - Air intercooler
Ap racing Brakes - or uprated discs and pads
General focus interior dressups
Stainless boost hoses and header tanks etc
Some exterior changes - lights mainly

So all in all lots you can do - main ones are Bluefin, Decat or Sports Cat, Manifold, Exhaust and upgraded Charge cooler

wots this pink trumpet think on the accelerater cable ????

 

Look at this picture mate, its the pink thing just beside the dump valve. I think its to stop vibration coming through the accellerator cable.

 

picking mine up tomorow cant wait
