Default PD Manifold

Fitted mine at the weekend and it is very good, loads of mid range power and lots more torque in each gear. It is very expensive though.

The quality of the welds are excellent.

Default PD Manifold

I fitted the Primary Designs Manifold with Coating.

It was a bit of a nightmare to fit, they dont leave much space for tightening the bolts, i had someone with some expreience help me. Make sure you get a new gasket for the manifold from ford.

Pumaspeed haev been advertising the Milltek manifold for AGES, but it never materializes. I got bored of waiting, no ones really sure how good it will be yet.

I would wait for a second hand PD one, the welds are second to none and the coating helps with under bonnet temps. or just go for the cheaper Ford Motorsport Manifold, i'm sure there is not a huge amount of difference between that and the PD one

Default Manifold

I bit the bullet and just bought one new. Thought that I could sell it for a fair bit of cash once I'm done with it.

It didnt really change the sound of the car, maybe a little louder. But in 4th Gear it feels like it has extra ummf at 5000RPM it just keeps pulling

Dan - try mountune - they quoted me £420 inc vat & delivery - it's not a 4-2-1 but is a good unit - they make a lot of motorsport products.

Shins over on the RS owners club forum is trying to organise a group buy of PD manifolds for FRS owners and the more orders he gets the better the discount. So hop over to that forum and note an interest and you might get it for a fair bit less than £1300.
