Hi everyone 1st post in here
I've had a new steering pump fitted and still have the light on plus Steering assist warning message on the garage that did the job seem to be messing about 1 way or another about getting these messages off
Is there anybody on here in Manchester/Oldham/Bury who could switch these off for me for a small fee

yeah that's why I think he's fobbing me off took my money to fit a new pump tho Ł320 ! Ah well might have to live with it ?

 

Is the alternator working correctly and is the battery in good health?

Any fault codes?

 

Hi yeah alternator is 18 months old and the battery is full of life
I believe it's more to do with the cars ecu recognising the steering module at the moment it doesn't know it's there .
