Anyone know of any buying guide(s) available to have a look though. I'm viewing a 90,000 mile one tomorrow. Its a 5 door.

 

What engine?

I'd avoid the TDCI.

All of the other engines are good including the TDDI.

Check for RUST, everywhere !

Other than that they are really good.

 

The weather put the viewing off, i've since found a better car. A 49,000 mile 53 plate, 1.6L

I learnt to drive in one of them, now i've got a little one whos getting to big for my brand new Fiesta a Focus MK1 is on the cards, cheap and bigger car. Other than a MK1 Focus i'd be looking at a MK4 Golf.
