Hi im new to this forum so i apologise if im posting in the wrong section,

When im changing gears in my ford focus 1.6, the revs shoot up but the car doesnt seem to move. Iv been told it could be my clutch

I dont have alot of knowledge about cars so im trying to find out:

The problem
A rough price
And maybe some one in the ribble valley area who could take a look and possibly fix it for me
