Hi iv recently brought a st170 and iv notices it's had the back box deleted but I'd like it a little louder and just wounded could I remove the big centre box or would this cause a loss in power as my mate thinks it will or would I just be best buying a decat pipe ? Thanx guys

 

I wouldn't do any of that, it'll be ridiculously loud because the centre section does most of the silencing. Get a proper, stainless cat back system from one of the big manufacturers like Piper/Mongoose/Milltek etc and you can guarantee it'll sound good.

 

Thanks for the reply mate I recon ur right I should stop being cheap lol what do you think of power flow there's a dealer by me and he ses he will build me a cat bk for £230 plus he can tune the sound so to speak
