hi guys just wondered if any1 cud help, I have a st3 225 running 300bhp the other day after been parked up for 3 days I pushed my clutch to floor to
change gear and pedal stayed to floor for few seconds which I know isn't normal. now the car will not let me drive higher than 2k rpm to change gear. also to down gear I have to be going slow enough. I've been to Nottingham clutch and gearbox this morning they have told me my gear box I've been to gearbox Nottingham they said they have never ever seen a Volvo 2.5 gearbox go and he said clutch?? any1 else had this problem??

 

If the clutch pedal goes to the floor , have a look for hydraulic fluid, as the slave cylinder may have gone. If so, it is a gearbox out job to fix. May still be the master cylinder. As for revs, thats down to the clutch not disengaging and sycros in the box related to speed.

 

has it dun it just the once did it get trapped under the floor mat just for a split second
