found it hanging around in the engine bay of a st170 im selling
any ideas????

I don't know what it is, looks like a fan switch/temp sensor, but I've seen them loose/cabled tied in ST170 engine bays before!

This is how they are. The standard 1.8 and 2.0 are the same.It just clips onto the battery tray.

That is a recall ford done for the cooling fan as that used to stay in and not cut out when up to temp.
