Default Move Hazard switch to TC switch?

Hi,

Basically need to move the Hazard switch off the Dashboard for a LCD screen install. I have a Ford Focus 2003 1.8TDCI (115ps) Zetec.

Apparently the Hazard switch has 3 wires going to it.

I haven't got traction control in my car so I have a blank button next to the handbrake. I bought a TC button of eBay, however it has 9 wires!

Is it possible to extend the Hazard wires to the TC button? If so, which wires do I use?

Thank
JM

p.s, I will re-design the button so it displays the hazard symbol instead to TC.

Or has anyone got wiring diagram for the hazard warning switch/traction control switch?

There must be a way to do this?

No there isn't. The hazards ars controlled by the GEM module and the switches on the early ones have the flasher relay built into them. Get the wiring wrong and fry the GEM then expect a hefty bill! Plus I'm not sure if the hazard switch is now part of the MOT.

I've seen the hazard switch relocated before, maybe go down that route.
