Hi,

Only just started doing it.

Sounds like its possibly coming from cambelt sort of area. So hard to tell.

When car is started it starts basically making a tapping noise. When car is warm it stops.

Could this be tappets or injectors.

Any other suggestions

Please help

 

Has it had a cam belt kit fitted ?? im sure we had a focus before and it was the tensioner slapping about.... so if its there i really wouldn't drive it mate...

 

Well ive had car about 3 years and it's on about 60,000 miles.

I haven't changed belt yet.

 

Very well could be that, obviously without hearing it cant say 100% but the focus we had in had the same sort of noise and thats what it was,
