I have a ford focus mk 1 1.6 5 door and went to open the drivers side rear door and it would not open tried for hours and my MOT is on saturday i cannont get the trim of because the door is shut i hope some can help

have you banged it whilst trying to unlock it. i had this and banging it (around the lock area) whilst unlocking worked. then obviously greased the bastard.

 

haha yeaah i tried all that just wont wont is this a fail on an MOT ??

Yes is a fail. Get someone told hold the inside handle open and then from inside kick the door open!

Had to do this on my van then just replaced the lock afterwards!

This ^^, we had this many years ago and whilst holding the door handle open and placing something against the inside of the door, place you foot against it and push.
