Hi,

I was looking through what upgrades were available for the Zetec MK1 when bought new and one that did catch my eye was traction control.

So I was just wondering if anyone has fitted traction control to their Focus?

My car already has ABS, so surely it won't be too hard? maybe? idk

as far as im aware the abs pumps needs changing and the gem module

 

as far as im aware thay all have traction control any way as its apart of the focus abs system. all the focus already have the loom there and fitted so all would need changing the the control unit and add traction button...

 

It's a complicated and expensive conversion and to top it off the basic (non ESP) T/C is the worst thing about the car, it's very clumsy and very intrusive.

Totally agree.
My Mk1 has ABS and T/C and the T/C is worse than useless.

 

1+ my focus came with abs/tc and the first thing ive done is remove it

 

hi i have a focus mk1 can u tell me how u removed tc .because i want to take it of it keeps comein on when it feels like so want to remove it
