Default quick question

im after a bit of noise from my focus 1.6 cheaply. has any one removed the standard back box and put a pice of pipe there instead. and left the standard middle box on.
would it sound ok or would it sound "crap"
i dont want to spend a lot on a performance back box

any help would be great

It would sound awful

Try removing the resonator out of the air box. Look at the air filter box, plugged into the side of it is a plastic box about half the size. Pull the air box up out of it's rubber bungs, then take the resonator out of the side, and push the air box back in to place.

iv already got a piper cross on it, just wanted something lower down the rev range as it doesnt give off any noise till you hit 3.5k rpm , but then it sounds evil : )
