Hi everyone,
My daughter has just purchased a 2006 2ltr Ghia petrol Focus and when she locks the car, the fuel filler flap is locked. When the car is unlocked, the flap can be opened and the filler cap accessed.

BUT....

When the vehicle is locked the filler flap is not securely locked. I can put my finger in the recess of this flap and there is approximately a half inch of movement which would allow slim fingers to get under the flap and probably pull\force it open. Yes the flap is locked but it does have that movement.

Is this right or is there any way I can adjust this flap to make the thing fit snug and not have this type of movement?
