Default St170 Induction KIT What one to get?

Isit worth getting an induction kit for a st170? if so what one is the one to go for? The all enclosed ones made by Pipercross the Viper i think its called? or is the stock just as good i.e is it a waste ofr £180 for the kit.
Thanks in advance
Danny.

if your looking for any gains its a total waste of money, id spend time getting a decent cold air feed to the airbox and give the maf a good clean

N/a engines dont benefit from induction kits tbh

id get a better cold air feed going into the air box. how you choose to do this is up to you but id run an alloy or larger pipe down towards the bumper. Yeah the MAF is the aluminium part in between the air box and throttle body. i gave the inside of mine a good soak in carb cleaner and made a smoother tick over.
Spend your money on a replacement panel filter for the air box, ie k&n.

yeah you will find after a good service it will make a difference. Definatly buy the k&n element over an induction kit, the airbox will keep the inlet temps much cooler than a cone filter. Either way the st170 is a nice drive,
