Default Limp mode

Hi all thanks for having me this forum has helped with all my previous problems but cant figure this one out
So its a 07 2.0tdci @ 146k
Car drives spot on until given a bit of stick then goes into limp mode (wont rev above 3000rpm) this doesnt happen everytime tho , turning the car off then on returns it back to normal , the EML dont come on and there are no codes to be read .... I was told to unplug MAF and see if that made a difference , it did car ran spot on but EML came on as MAF was disconnected !
Ive had a DPF removal and map to suit , new MAF sensor and fuel filter , the EGR has been blanked and not blanked but changed nothing !
What and where should i be looking now ??
Cheers phil

Does the car not ping a light when in limp mode?
Or display any messages on the display?

Possibly all the fault codes have been disabled when the car was remapped.
Try it with the standard software and ignore the codes about the DPF.

The car was running like this before the remap ( if not worse ) with only DPF related codes and an EGR fault ( it had beed blanked off ) so i had the dpf removal and map done and removed the blanking plate , upon a few more drives in the car the problem is purely random as i can be free rolling down a hill and itt goes into safe mode , also on a trip to the hospital ( around 26 mikes one way ) the car went into safe mode 3-4 times but drove home perfect . I really am at a loss with this ford any last ideas to try before the 3rd when its booked in ?????

Hi mate - did you find a solution for this? Think I have something very similar with my 2.0 Titanium!
