ive had diagnostics done on my 55 plate 1.8 tdci dont know much about cars codes came up p0089 and p0001 bloke suggested a new fuel regulator and then said try a new fuel filter first
car was running but a little red cog used to come up but soon as you turn the key off and back on it would be fine but nowwill not start at all sorry if this dosent make sense any help appreciated

its a focus mk 2 i think lol i love the car but havent got alot of funds at the mo to go to a garage thought diagnostics would of been more help

 

p0001 fuel volume regulator control ,check wiring or regulator solenoid
p0089 fuel pressure regulator 1 performance problem ,fuel pressure mechanicl fault ,this is what is on the autodata cd mate sounds like the fuel regulator is shot
