Default Anyone got IDS and good knowledge?

Hi all,

In desperate need of help.
I;ve got a s-max which came with a convers+ dash. We had a battery drain problem and after reading many forums i put it down to the dash (plus the screen was flickering) so i got a new one which was a newer version.
since putting it in the airbag warning light is one and the dash doesn't light up when the headlights are in the auto position.
From reading around its a compatibility issues which can be resolved via IDS apparently.

I do not have it, and Ford seem reluctant to touch it.
MOT is due soon so I think it needs sorting!

Does anyone here have knowledge of this problem or have IDS and able to fix?

thanks everyone.
