Hi all,

is it me or is the remote control for my 2004 focus 2.0ltr absolutely crap....i can be stood right next to it and it still wont work. is there anything i can do about it???? i have put a new bty in it

the receivers are never that great so chances are you just have a poor one some aftermarket remotes have greater range

Doesn't that just give you a new key and use the existing car receiver Steve ?

Mine isn't brilliant, but I don't fancy the agro of fitting an aftermarket receiver

its the key that has poor transmitting power not the receiver, as I have upgraded keys before and found range improved massive
