Default focus headlight removal

hi changed healight mainbeem bulb a couple of wks ago easy couple bolts to undo slipped out no bother
today had to do nearside sidelight out same thing took front plastic cover of undo the two bolts tried to slide it out it moved but would not come completly out so put it back together
anybody else had same prob on nearside removel ford focus 2005

Default focus headlight removal

There is a bolt underneath the light, you need to reach your hand up behind the bumper to remove it. Sounds like whoever changed the bulb last on the other side didn't put it back in!

what year focus? the newer ones have two bolts at the top and a plastic tab down the back of the headlight that you press down to remove the light

The mk1 has 4 bolts, 3 are visible and 1 accessible under the wheel arch by first removing torx screw bit that screws onto lower end corner of bumper. It's a tight fit but can be done if your patient. They are all 10mm bolts.
