Default Focus MP3 question

Does anyone know for sure if the MP3 model ever had a boot badge or decal saying MP3 or was it just blank with only the focus badge ?

I seem to remember they did, it was a silver vinyl decal on the boot lid. Might be mistaken though!

Definitely not like that lol. Maybe the one I saw was a sticker someone had stuck on too. Or maybe dealers chose to fit them themselves?

If you can get onto eCat and have a look at the available badges, but like I said I never had one come in from the factory with them on the car or in the pdi pack.

Although I have just remembered they may if had a 1.8 badge on the back.

The engine capacity is on the boot, not the trim (barring the ST170), dervs had TDDI/TDCI respectively, I am pretty sure the 'Panther' model is an exception to this.

Didn't come from the factory with any MP3 badge. If you put the reg into ETIS, (for example SG03RFZ) under minor features should be "MP3 SVP" and "MP3 Single CD ICE Unit-Titanium" if it's a proper one.

its a proper mp3 has the correct interior, wheels & mp3 single disc player etc and on OE service book its printed mp3, just wanted to see if the decal was pukka or not Dal, so I guess the hairdryer will be out later for its removal , mind you interior is being sold as I have a mint st170 set of leathers going in next week

That focus looks stunning. Its the smae colour as ours.

The ford focus is one of the best cars ford have built imo.

The black edition is what I was referring to, I am a little confused at the moment, hence why I mentioned panther black, which is the colour its named after.

We have had ours for over 2 years and its been brill. All ive changed on it is 2 rear wheel bearings, front discs n pads, exhaust flexy and i did a clutch master cylinder on it the other week.

There a really comfortable car and they handle well.

Yep, mine has the ink Badge on it for sure, but no engine spec badge tho.

So it's a 1.6 but says ink instead of 1.6.

The Chic model is almost same as an Ink plus some slightly less items. that didn't have a badge I don't think.
