Fifth gear issues
I just had my 1999 1.8 Focus in the garage for a new clutch and concentric slave cylinder because it was slipping. While it was in there they said it also needed new gear oil (?) so I had that done too.
Since I've had it back the fifth gear has not been right. When changing into fifth I need to hold the gear stick in for a second or two while pulling away, otherwise it pops out and the gears crunch. Once I've let the clutch up it's fine.
I'm not sure if the dodgy slipping clutch was masking this or if it's something new because of the work that was done. Any suggestions?
