I want to replace my front indicator bulbs on my mk1.5.
So I have tried them, the right one flashes quickly as the bulbs are lower wattage, but the left doesn't even come on (I tried both bulbs and work fine), even when putting the hazards on, the left wont come on, but the right flashes at normal rate.

So on the right, I have tried putting a resistor on the bulb terminals but had no effect. Then I tried on the rear lights... I cut the wires and put them back together the a resistor on them but the bulb also didn't work here, even without the resistor

So now I don't know what to do. I have wanted these LED bulbs for long time and now I finally managed to treat myself to some.

I would really appreciate any help and advice.

 

Also replied to your other topic. You wrote the led bulb that wont come up is fine. How do you know this and how did you find this?
