I got my 2003 Focus Sport TDCi lowered but it makes a terrible knocking/creaking noise from the front which sounds mainly the driver side.
The knocking only occurs when going over bumps and is much more pronounced when turning slow bumpy corners like into a driveway.
There's no play anywhere and everything is nice and tight. The bushes look OK but difficult to tell about the ARB ones.
Tried searching for a thread about it here but couldn't find one, sorry if it duplicates. Anyone got any ideas? I've heard a few already but want to get some more advice.

Dont want to patronise you mate but have you checked the drop links ? My 2002 was doing the exact same thing . The steering also felt quite loose , hope this can be of some help . JP

Feel free to patronise, I'm not exactly an expert lol! The drop links seem OK but I've seen on other forums to try replacing them anyway or try longer drop links but I don't know where to get longer ones from. ![Confused](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
I'm going to be polybushing it soon so I'll replace the drop links at the same time and see if that helps. Thanks pal!

i had this after i lowered my focus, and was because the mount were the lower part of the shock goes into wasnt tight enough just literally would of noticed it by eye, but quick run over all the bolts with a spanner cured it, I had to do it fairly tight though
