Default Engine swap

Hi everyone, just looking for advice, I have a mk6 1.25 finesse and a mk6 1.4 zetec, the finesse is nearly fecked and I'm looking to swap the engine over as the zetec is lower mileage, is it as easy as swapping the engine, ecu and keys over? What extra wiring needs done? Can the zetec just go straight over? Any help would be great thanks
Adam

I have never done this before but yes.. generally they can be swapped over with little or no trouble. It's well known that 1.7 Puma engines swap straiht into most fiestas also.

I can't help you with the actual information itself, but I can point you in the right direction. Look for guides on Puma Engine swaps. Its noted that 2 litre Mondeo engines have been used also.
