depends really on your insurer but to cover yourself you should always let them know as some charge where as some dont

Yes is the short answer, If they are woth more than the standard ones to replace they cost if theft is more to the insurance company therefore they chage you more also they will argue it make the car more of a tarket if the wheels are desirable!
