I have a 2007 Fiesta and changed the headlamp bulb and the bonnet does not now not shut properly.

It just closes on the first catch, but does not finally shut.

I had the catch off, cleaned it up and regreased and had a good look at it but could not see anything wrong. I put it back on and it still did not work.

So I thought the catch must be faulty, so I purchased another one and replaced it, but the same problem persist.

Maybe someone hit the car and put things out of alignment, but I cannot see anything obvious.

I have tried everything I can think (save taking it to the garage) can anyone help please.
