Default lowering spring problem ..

hello ,I have just bought a mk2 fiesta and just tried putting it through a mot but had a slight problem ..... the previous owner has put lowering springs on the back and when you jack the car up the springs become lose and nearly fall out :S . this is what it failed on ... any ideas on how to fix this ?

I guess it's got the wrong springs fitted as aftermarket lowering springs shouldn't do this. Maybe they have been chopped. Only way round it is new springs!
