right lads
my fuel gauge on my s2 always goes to full and stays there.but if i turn on the rear demist it flys right down the bottom fast where do i start looking to sort this out also the abs light stays on and also comes off when the rear demist is switched on. fucking car

 

i would say try changeing ur water temp sender in the head about 14 pounds from ford

or run a simple earth from the bootlid to the car body, see if that helps, just bodge it at first cos it may not help, im assumning the demister earth is duff and its goin thru the other circuits to earth (hinges dont make good earths and the wirin that runs thru is easily busted)

 

rereadin ur prob it may be the other way round and the sender is earthing wrong (maybe via the fuel pump supply to make it go to the top straight away), try putting a better earth to that too (could patch in under the rear seat to a good earth to see if that sorts out the gauge problem)
