Default master cylinders

hi all,
i had a new servo and master cylinder fitted 12 months ago, the cars done 900 miles in that time, and now the new master cylinder is starting to leak down the servo, again, the bits were new from ford, i havent got a clue where the receipts have gone, so i cant take it back, ,

anyone know if its common to leak after 12 months, i know all old ones do, as mine was a right mess,b4 i changed them for the new ones,

i dont think you can get the seal ring that goes into the master cylinder,(so ford told me last time) and i dont want to get a repair kit,

id realy appreciate some help from you helpfull lot

I dont know about from Ford, but those seals are available seperatly on theit own from motor factors - anyone that stocks girling.

Ive had this problem, and it's usually the sealing. Take it off, clean everything up, and then smear some silicone aroung the seal and servo face - seems to work really well.
