Hi everyone my fuel compter has gone on the blink on my rst it reads fuel used but not average mpg or instant economy any ideas where the fault lies? I've tried 3 from the breakers yard but still the same problem.

Does anyone know of a good tunner for the rst in the south who'll do a good job!

I disagree...

I used to love mine.



The fuel computer needs all 3 sensors to work properly to work out your fuel usage. Chances are the actual unit is ok. I would check the flow and gearbox sensor first if I were you.

Keep the big button pressed for a while. the FUEL COM goes into test mode, then press the button again to select which test. ie fuel, speed , fuel flow. the numbers should increase, PM me if you get stuck and ill dig out the official test procedure from FORDs!!
