some of my best time in my ERST was when i beat a maserati from the red light looooooool you should have seen his face
also out ran a kid in dads Bmw 540i
the other time was when my brothers m8 who had an 350+bhp ESCOS raced me
we did a roling start from 40-170kmt and i just stayed at his door all the way and this cossie runs 12.4sec 1/4mlie allday long

getting confused here. a few people have mentioned beating saxos...vts im sure as they are the only ones worth bothering with. im guessing they are modded rsts. as i thought standard rsts were no match for the vts/gti 106. they are nippy little things

totally standard?. bar wheels of course. i read somewhere that rsts respond better to breathing mods than n/a equivelants....i bet im talking crap now but im sure i read that

Saxo's are a good laugh if you put the fact that they are made so badly. Mate had one but realised at the age of 30 he looked a twat getting out of it and he'd hung his baseball cap up years ago
Used to have some good races against his Paxo in our old 130bhp 8v XR2i

Saxo VTS are quick off the mark but oonce you got the RST rolling and the boost comes in bye bye VTS!!!

VTR's are shit slow (100bhp or so), VTS's aren't even fast (bout 125). Not that light either, modern cars are full of safety crap and if one beats an RST when i've not come across one that beats my 3i, then you should get it looked at.
oh saying that, i met a supercharged one once. torque was phenomenal, it went from 30 in 4th to about 90 really really fast.

is yours a standard xr3i?. a vts would be a standard one or even mildly modded. they are quicker than the 205 gti 1.6s and they were quicker in the day than the 3i if i recall. didnt look anynear as good though

well ive sold my 1995 m3 coupe running about 330bhp and i strongly believe the rst ive just bought will easily stay with it once up and running but from standstill to say 80 the m3 will win( unless i can get decent traction..... .

Some idiot tried to go passed me on motorway in a 1.4 corsa, i let him get up beside me he looked at me with a huge grin so i put the foot down and waved bye bye. Stupid boy, why bother.
I have passed a TRD Supra but dont think he was trying.

instead of this...
205 gti's are about the same as a standard 3i but corner quicker unless the 3i is lowered. 1.9 gti's were quicker but mine beats em, and 1.9 gti's beat paxo's.

Well, the missus successfully rinsed a Porsche Boxster. That was ages ago (maybe when the car was 250bhp?) and I wasn't in the car with her. I thought that was pretty
