Default RS Turbo engine rebuild

Im looking at a ESRT s2 but Ive been told that compresion is down on one of the pistons, due to a piston ring breaking down.
How much would a engine rebuild cost me?
engine spec is
185 PTS chip (15psi boost)
Piper cam
-31 actuator

Any help would be great. I really want a S1 but this seems a good deal if its not to costly to put right.

thanx

Shaun

Oh, I was just looking for a basic rebuild no extra fancy stuff for the time being. I was going to take it to a engine builders and not do it myself.

Could anyone give me a rough idea on what it may cost?
Its to late on in the day to phone a company but I wouldnt mind someone letting me know what they had done and how much it cost them.
How much would a 2 / 2.1L ZVH conversion cost.
Any help would be great.

a std cvh build can cost alsorts, depends if u wanna go whole hog
the list is huge for a full build
the pumps, a crank grind, rings, shells, hone/bore, gaskets, bolts, clutch oil, filters, seals, guides, skim etc etc
that little lot will cost a lot of beans but its still nessicary if you wanna do it right, poss it would need more on top, or you could throw a new ring set on teh low cyl and hope for the best urself for £50

presonally i like to dump a engine with issues in the corner and fit another but that can cause more probs, my last engine done less that 100 miles b4 oil pump went and it was replacing a engine tat did teh same the week b4
but then again some ppl spunk 1500 quid into a lump and it will last 100 miles also b4 goin tits up,
its a minefield

The price is for top quality FULL rebuild, not just a re hone and new rings.
