turbo will be sat over the gearbox and feeding the inlet in the bottom corner at the drivers side, outlet is perfect for feeding the throttle body on the end of my rover m16 inlet

Out of the bolt on type, id have to go for the pace, as its the only single pass one that keep temps down. You lose 20hp on the GRS for any given charge temp. The NMS type are head and shoulders above anything else though, single twin or triple. I run more boost than most, but Karl found that the response of the engine was better on the twin core than triple core, with marginal diff in act's.
It is not easy to fit proerly, and u need to completely rethink ur water cooling setup.

GRS
I have been using Grahams items since he started many years ago, not once have i had any type of problem.
No Overheating issues
Easy to fit items
Custom made for any requirements
No boost drop or leaking issues.
I have also sent bent, damaged items that have been in crashes etc.. back to GRS to be fixed back to the high standrad they once were.
All round the GRS items are better than the other choices value for money and for results IMO

Rick wrote; 'You lose 20hp on the GRS for any given charge temp'. What is meant by this? Loose 20bhp?? Got me worried now. Thinking of ordering my GRS tomorrow. ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Ive seen the results of extensive research on various design in type and make of intercoolers.
If your primary concern is lowering Air Charge Temps then up and to a point any of the above mentioned manufacturers will achieve your goal.
RST_mark. go with the GRS its more than adequate

Is the pressure drop going to be a problem on my car seeing i'm only running 14psi? Is this anything to be worried about?
I don't want to spend out on a new intercooler only to find that i'm loosing power from it, would be better to keep the small pace i've got. Don't want it to feel less responsive...
Think mine peaks at 14psi then drops back to 12-13psi....
Any oppions on what i should do would be good..... Cheers

So what would be the best option for me, my car spec is on page one of this post. Don't really fancy a chargecooler.
Would it be worth me buying a GRS front mount intercooler or better for me to stick with what i've got?
Thanx for all your help

I did have a GRS but unfortunatley it wasn't the one for me. I had a few issues and ended going for a pro alloy one which transformed the car again. Both top products though. Gonna get another one for the Mrs Festa. Just didn't do the job on my engine unfortunatley.
Like i said though both top products in my eyes.

SidZvh, what was the problem with the GRS cooler on your engine?
The only concern i've got is that i'm gonna loose boost pressure through the intercooler because i'm only running 14psi, and hence loose power, which is not good
.
Cheers, Mark

One more question for people with the GRS cooler is where have they found it best for the fan to be mounted and are they using the slimline kenlowe fan?
Planning on fitting my fan between the intercooler and radiator.
