i've never been mate but will be up for going next year.

the main resson i took it of the road for winter is i only work about 3 miles from home so as it wont get used for work it will save me 680 quid plus fuel while its sat on the drive staying clean and dry.

and thats a big lump towards monster brakes

plus instead of drivin about all weekend wasting fuel i can finish my interiour off, gett all my gagues put in ect.

then once march gets here i can just enjoy driving it and not have to be messin about at nights and weekends when everyone else is raggin sh@t out of their motors!!!

5.3-60, 10.9-100, 13.2 Best Qtr but on new spec without mapping running 13.6 Qtr at 116 MPH @ 18psi

I'm Sids other half. I'm sure he'll be pleased to hear that he gave you some inspiration for your build. Looks great. I'm sure if he gets it mapped in time he'd be up for it if he's in the country.

He's looking forward to running some propper boost next year with his propper gearbox in. After it let go earlier in the year he's been running it on a totally std box. Cant believe it's kept going.

Keep up the good work mate. Should make some quick times. Hopefully he can manage to get in the 12's next year too. And maybe a propper top speed.

mine will be mapped early next year at around 24psi so i'll be at the pod alot next year.

Just out of interest ,what sort of 0-60 and top speed with 200bhp in an S1 as a newbie to RS TURBO,S cheers andy

To be honest mate 0-60 is alot to do with how well you can get the car to grip and go forward. Just takes abit of time in the seat but it'll comes eventually. Weight is another big factor.

I think you could probably get 6-7secs 0-60 with the right launch if the car was stripped etc. Top speed i'm not sure. Somebody was talking about this earlier and put that somebody had done 148mph with 185bhp?

Not sure how the car was timed though?
Back of Perfomance Ford might give you an idea though mate.
