i went out for a thrash in my s2 the other night and was givin it abit and went from 3rd to 2nd ,now when i start it it runs abit lumpy and then clears nearly everyone i have spoke to says i have a colapsed tappet what do you lot think.

i will pop tappets round tomorow didnt get time to do it today as were changing brakes it were a pain in arse

 

Do you mean when you start it from cold ? or does it happen regardless? Is there any tappety noises? Hope i can help

 

sorted now mate done a compression test and its all fine think i just done the lifters in cheers anyways
