HI SHAUN, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I BOUGHT C58 AVU. ITS IN VERY GOOD CONCITION. IT HAS HAD QUITE A BIT OF RESTORATION INCLUDING ENGINE REBUILD. WILL TAKE AFTERBURNER LIGHTS OFF IN THE NEAR FUTURE. ALSO WANT TO CHANGE THE SAPH LEATHER SEATS FOR ORIGINALS, " IF YOU KNOW OF A FULL INTERIOR PLEASE LET ME KNOW". IF YOU PM ME WITH YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS I WILL FORWARD YOU SOME PICS. CHEERS

Cheers Dry, never owned a series 1, considering how many RS cars i have had over the years. Great car to drive & get a real buzz from driving it. Could really get use to this....

Get used to many admiring glances too mate. I know ya gonna get rid of them

rear lights. Sooner the better IMO. Then it will be a nice S1 again

My m8`s on the case. going to be removing them next few weeks. Not a straight forward job though. hopefully found original recaro trim, then she will be a nice series1

Too many around still, wait 4-5 years and then you can make a S2 register. I guess we need all the ringers and crappers out there to rust away or get broken before anyone will consider them rare enough

B400 WKD is the first s1 i went to look at, not sure if its an original s1
as i only stayed for 10 mins before walking away,
it was dodgey to me

I own C821 WLS which is currently a bare shell
its been off the road since february when i acqured it from ebay
thought i got a bargain until i pulled the carpets up!!!!
I have been collecting parts since and will hopefully be able to start
work on it at christmas to have it out for the summer

Those are the pics I have: from ebay. Also got one from Feb parked with a S2 & Escos by previous owner. Must have been the guy you bought it from.

Good luck on the resto. Don't forget to add them into the resto forum
