Hiya guys
I have just done an engine swap and the engine was runing fine when taken out of the car now in the new car it seems to be like chug chug chug
Like its overfueling loads?
There is also grey smoke coming out of exhaust, is there any sensors i could have got in the wrong place to make this thing happen i dont have most of them connected but thats how i was origionaly running it anyway as its just more things to go wrong like cold start valve act sensor collent temp sensor.
2m i will take plug out at a time and check for sparks but would like any info that may be helpfull b4 doing so.

Connect them up!

There is a temp sensor under the inlet manifold, a brown one. If it's not connected, the engine will fuel for -30C and run as you describe. The cold start injector is the only plug you can leave off, the others should be connected.

 

If i disconect the one blue is it? that goes to the cold start valve injector itself surely the car will not be able to run as thoe its -30oC? IL START PLUGING THEM UP AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS I HAVE A YELLOW ONE WHICH IS NOT CONECTED IT WAS SOMEWHERE UNDER THE MANIFOLD MAYBE THIS IS THE CULPRET>?
