My bonnet release cable presumably has snapped/come loose. Whats the best way to fix it and lift the bonnet?

Mine came off a couple of weeks back, i took it to my local garage and the bloke got down under front and managed to release bonnet. when bonnet was up he clipped it back in. 5 min job for someone that knows what their doing.
I doubt urs has snapped, probably off at the front too

 

if you lie on the floor and push your hand up along the radiator you will find that the catch is just above the rad,just push it accross and it will open. make sure the car is cold or you'll burn your hand and arm. the cable is easy to change and a new is about 15 quid from ford.

 

yeah thats right if you jack the car up from the front, there is just enough space to slide your hand in behind the turbo and get to the bonnet release. this happend to me had the bonnet open in about 5 mins, just make sure the car has cooled down as you will burn your arm, lol
