Well looking thru the classifieds of Fast Ford and Performance Ford, i c one or 2 nice RST's, for example 2.1 ZVH's.

They go between £2700 and £4500.

Are these gonna be reliable if well looked after. I dont thrash my cars.

Are they quick

for an example, a 2.1zvh "stage 3" how quick is this really going to be ?

I need to keep up with golf vr6's etc!!!!!

Golf VR6's are easy mate, they are one of the cars that always seem to want to play with me, they stalk me. Even with a mere 230bhp they soon changed their mind

Oh, and that was only with a weedy 1600, I don't know about ZVH's, I am not a fan personally...

 

a 2.1 stg 3 zvh is guna be somewhere around the 260-280 bhp mark i would think m,aybe higher with the right turbo and mangement mayeb a nice t34 and omex! but sayign that im half cut and aint got a clue what im talking about!

 

reliabilty is always a issue with a tuned car though, if i had up to 4.5k to spend, my money would go on a mint H Reg with a stage 1 tune, at around 180bhp,

or a mint series 1

 

Even a mildly tweeked CVH powered RST will make mince meat of a VR6 Golf. A 2.1 ZVH will nail one to the nearest wall and set fire to it
