Coolant Sensor

If the sensor is knackered, ie reading as an open circuit and the car thinks it's cold when it's warm would this lead to overfuelling ?

Not sure...but don't think so. My S2 never used to over-fuel when the sensor was knackered.

I take it your in-car engine temp gauge doesn't work then & this is why you think the sensor is kapput ?

The temparature gauge works, but the car is overfuelling.

Should get the new sensor today so will find out tonight or tomorrow.
