Default Piston Question!

Are S2 pistons the same as standard 1.6 CVH ones???

Will standard pistons be ok up to 200bhp???

no way mate, totally different
yes standred turbo pistons will be ok for 200 bhp

They are forged Mahle pistons in an RST - very high quality too, and can stand 260bhp.

mahle pistons are now no longer been made for rst or cos as AE have taken over production...

is it true u can have your standard mahles skimmed by 40 thou and it lowers the comp ratio 2 8.0 to 1 instead of 8.3 to 1?

yeah and if you don't put any pistons in at all you can lower it even more.......
