Andy, off topic slightly, but what did you do for a handbrake as a result of using those calipers?

Cheers mate

I had new turrets fabricated using thicker/stronger material, Im unsure what, if any strengthining others have carried out when fitting coilovers.

Hope you get your problem sorted out.

I'd say at a guess, that the rear anti roll bar has been ditched,as the new coil-over set up will more than compensate's for its removal! Regards,Micky

ARB's are not required for the MOT. If fitted then they must be in working condition and have no excess movement, but if they're not there they can't be tested.

Besides, this will handle alot better than something with a std set up and ARBs.

espcially in our fine scottish climate

(thats fucking wet for out Viking chums )

Not that Andy needs to worry about an MOT, as AVA will take that long to get the thing finished that we'll all be in our Hovercars drag racing on Saturn for space credits before Andy needs to get it taxed..........

OI Euan steam isnt a word I want associated with my car, especialy when it moves

The reason it only moved and isnt MOVING relates to the old managment & compatability issues with the coilpacks.
Modifications to resolve the issue have not proven sucsessful hence me purchasing new management a few weeks back(cars been a project for far to long and needs completed).
I mention this above, which needs fitted before the car can be mapped, again hopefully within the coming weeks rather than months

Rab STFU Its an old post which has crept to the top. Tell you what though, im more determined now than ever to see the car back on the road

Alex Lack of antiroll bars hasnt been an issue, thankfully

Interesting Looks a well thought out set up you have there

Ade to increase strength & for ease of adjustability I had new turrets fabricated with adjustable mounts at the top, braced from left to right and triangulated in the centre of the brace for added strength.
