I now have the funds to buy a cam as mines worn..Im gonna get a piper t2 cam..But want the double valve springs and anti pump lifters..

Wheres the best place to get all this..

Im thinking pumaspeed for the double valve springs..

Any other traders can do a good price?

thought piper t2 kit cam with double springs! speak to karl norris! he will be able to spec you a camm too if ya want!

see newman cams theres last alot longer then piper and kent they come with solid lifters also see pumaracing for proper double valve springs the ones you get with the kits are shite they dont like high revs pumaracing ones can take up to 8000rpm with no valve float and you can use them on any profile

The thing is i dont want solid lifters as i know they are a pain to set up with shims etc...unless anyone knows different who has fitted them..

I see on the newman website you have to buy a clamping tool for £18..?? is this really needed..if it is im looking at £286 plus BEFORE i even buy the double valve springs lol

soild lifters are not as bad as i first thought i have fitted three newman cams i set them up with a feeler gauge i could help you if you want
