hey peeps just removing the dash from my S2 and was wondering if you HAVE to remove the steering lock colomn thing in order for the dash to come out completely? asi have tried but it looks like it HAS to come out...

if it does how does it come out?

i will get a pic up in a tick about what bit im talking about so you know for sure

do you mean the bit that the ignition lock slides into ,on mine i cut the bit of the dash that goes over it refitted the dash and glued it back,thats the bit,cut the plastic on one side only and fold it up ,you cant see it when its bonded back

got another dash to go in at some point any way

yep know exactly what ya mean...cant remember how i took it out of the Orion PMSL...mind u it was going to be scrapped so we kinda just ripped it out lol

A bit of force seems to work fine - it leaves scratches but nobody sees so what does it matter.
