I have bought another escort s2 from 1986 turbo, without engine. I'll want to install a 2.0 or 1.8 Mondeo Engine ( i have one with complete loom). I don't want to make it turbo. Can i install the engine with escort rs turbo gearbox?

Yeah deffo, a Escort Rs Turbo without a Turbo just won't do.

 

I have found a complete engine from Fiesta Rs Turbo with loom and ecu. I think it's a direct swap or not?

 

Yeah pretty much, will all bolt in and then a bit if wiring and plumbing alterations.

 

Make sure you have heard it running before buying it... so many stories over the years of people buying what's described as a good engine only to be sold a lemon!
