Default Alternator touching bottom rad hose

Hi just fitted my new grs intercooler with the fans in between the rad and ic and now my bottom rad hose is very close to the alternator pulley and is touching the blades when I took it for a drive luckily didn't cut it. What's the best way of gaining clearance? Can I use a smaller alternator belt?
cheers

Yeah that's it, a shorted belt will sort the issue.

when fitting a Front IC you will move the rad backwards, and therefore you need a shorter belt.
just go down to the local parts shop with your old and get one shorter and its a job done...

I'm using vibratechincs mounts. Sorted cheers guys got a 25mm shorter belt after looking up part numbers and sizes in the gates catologue. Tight to get on though had to turn the engine with a spanner to get it on haha
