Default Stack dash/standard clocks bulbs wiring

Im in middle of fitting a stack dash into my clocks, and i only need the standard dash bulbs at top of clocks to work, handbrake, full beam etc etc,, so can i cut the bottom of the 'circuit board'? off? Below where the multi plugs connect?? It gets in the way of where stack loom plugs in,
cheers

Thats the plan when new thicker carbon turns up to make a better backing plate, it was just to get it through its mot really, maybe a wee bit longer!
